collective theater devising project by Kollektiv Komplex

I was responsible for the digital stage design and projections.

The stage was built as an arena, featuring one large cube, one small cube for projections, and two projection areas on either side.

The projections served as the Bühnenbild in the first act, visualizing the daily life of Juni as she navigates the complexities of deciding whether to have children.

The projections also displayed hormonal fluctuations throughout a menstrual cycle.

In the second act, the play transitioned into an interactive art exhibition led by character K, exploring ethical perspectives on having children. Here, I designed pixel-art projections of the four players—Nihilism, Egoism, Responsibility, and Idealism.

The final part of the performance shifted into a dream/nightmare sequence, where all previous characters reappeared in a surreal, trauma-healing journey. The projections adapted to this shift, visualizing inner desires, subconscious fears, and ultimately, Juni’s realization of her boundaries.
